Feyre had thought she had gotten away with it. She made sure she wasn’t followed not knowing that Rhysand’s people were even better then she was. She made her way back to Tamlin’s manor in the heart of his territory. She hated the place, hated the fae lord that blackmailed her into doing what he wanted but her family was safe and taken care of. That was what was important: her family.
Tamlin seemed to be waiting for her and actually looked impressed when she produced the ring. She wanted to keep the pretty ring but Tamlin took it from her, claiming that she and what she had stolen was his. Feyre was grateful in that frustrated annoying moment that Tamlin had no idea that he had an Omega in his grasp. Feyre didn't want to be bonded to this asshole of a high lord.
As if she was a child, he ordered her to her bedroom and locked the door in her face, a smug smirk on his own. She pounded on the hardwood, ordering him to let her out and when Feyre realized that was futile she went to the windows only to find them locked.
Clearly Tamlin thought she was a flight risk. He was only half right.
